Monetary Donations 

Thank you for your commitment in the fight against hunger. Through your generous support, we’ve helped over 35,000 Children, Women and Men, including Senior Citizens,  in our community get the assistance they need. 1 out of every 4 individuals helped by Twin Lakes Food Bank is a child. Your compassion is truly amazing!

Your generous donations are used to buy food and supplies at wholesale prices to help individuals and families in need. For every dollar you donate, the Twin Lakes Food Bank can provide the equivalent of three meals to hungry children, families and seniors in our local communities.  Thank you for your support. Food Donations

Approximately 70% of all food given out from Twin Lakes Food Bank is from food donations. Any donation big or small is appreciated.  Click here for a printable list

Here is a list of staple items the food bank needs:

Canned Food                                           Tuna & canned meat, canned vegetables, canned fruit, chili, beans, pork & beans, peanut butter, ravioli, stew, soup,etc.

Packaged Food                                         Pasta, rice, macaroni n'cheese, hamburger helper, side dish rice, crackers

Personal Necessities                                 Bath soap, toothpaste, toothbrush, deodorant, toilet paper, razors, shampoo

Baby Needs                                               Diapers, baby food, formula, wipes, blankets

Homeless Needs                                        Anything that is pop-top or individual serving containers, sleeping bags & blankets. 

Baby Items, Clothing & Household Items Donations

We welcome new or clean, gently used clothing, shoes and outerwear for adults and children.

Blankets, small appliances, bedding and kitchen utensils are desired.  Baby necessities such as formula, baby food, disposable diapers and clothing are needed throughout the year.

Volunteer

Volunteering can be one of the most rewarding ways you can contribute to the fight against hunger. We rely on the generous support of our community volunteers. In 2010, volunteers contributed over 13,000 hours of service. Just one day can make a difference to a family or child in need.
